Tasked with producing new branding and campaign graphics for this musical theatre tour. The brief was to reposition them from amateur performance to credible west end potential. Coupled with such a change in brand positioning I expect to see an inevitable increase of ticket sales across multiple UK theatres. I focused on gaining trust from the existing core audience and generating word of mouth through visual impact. Which raises the profile of the production since its last outing and ultimately should get more bums on seats.
The creative challenge here was to encapsulate the presence, character and story behind the shows main character. Nicholas Saunderson a truly remarkable individual. His figure silhouetted of the period in the logo itself alongside the subtle visual of the rainbow and mathematical equations are all core elements of Nicholas' story. No spoilers.
